#1 Re: Support » I need help changing the season in Black 2 » 2012-10-14 15:03:24

About the season thing:

Spring: January / May / September
Summer: February / June / October
Autumn: March / July / November
Winter: April / August / December

I just mention this in case you don't know. Did you try changing the date of the computer to the month of March, July or November?

#2 Re: Support » Desmume running slow! » 2012-04-19 05:27:17

Mmm... the processor isn't enough powerful to run DesMuME flawlessly. DesMuME is very CPU-based (in other words, it works better with more powerful processors), so a better graphics card won't cut it. Look the FAQ for more details.

#3 Re: Support » White Screen (nothing happens) after reset / restart » 2011-11-10 16:53:35

Mmm... first at all, what game are you trying to play?

#4 Re: Support » Graphic Card Improvement » 2011-04-14 06:45:20

A better graphics card can help you a little, but not by much. If you want a notable improvement in your speed (needed for the game that you mentioned and some others, like Final Fantasy IV), you will need to change your processor that you have for one that have a higher frequency (in GHz) and better processing of data, and preferably with two cores (because DeSmuME benefits much more with less cores).

By the way, Which is the processor of the computer that you are using, and the frequency of your processor?

#5 Re: Support » Golden Sun Dark Dawn - unbearably slow... » 2011-01-19 16:57:38

OK. Some questions.

1. What version of DeSmuME are you using?
2. Which OS do you have installed and which is your processor?
3. Did you have selected the "Synchronous" option selected with "Synch Method "P"" and the option "Advanced SPU Logic" actived in the sound settings in the emulator?
4. Did you disabled "Enable Advanced Bus-Level Timing" in Emulation Settings?

#6 Re: Support » Holy buzzing noise! » 2010-11-29 18:15:55

In the sound settings, activate the next options:

- Synchronization Mode: Synchronous
- Synchronizer Method: Synch Method "P"
- Enable Advanced SPU Logic

I hope that this helps.

#7 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » Megaman Battle Network 5 Double Team unable to load ingame saves » 2010-11-17 23:13:15

SpadeHalo: What version are you using? I can reproduce this in the official 0.9.6 version and 0.9.5 version, but in the most recent SVN that I used for verification issues, the problem was solved. I suggest that you download and compile the most recent SVN, or wait until 0.9.7 is released.

I hope that this would be useful.

How could I fix the in game save? Since it seems to be the problem.

What version of DesMuME are you using? Have you tried Autodetect Savetype?

Oh, it naturally does a battery save state in the game. smile Before you are added to the hall of fame it saves the state for you.

Did you were playing all the game with save states? Did you saved in-game at least one time?

By the way, What is the version of DeSmuME that you're using?

#10 Re: Support » Pokemon Pearl-beating the elite (near an ending) » 2010-10-31 01:14:20

I think that zeromus is saying that you didn't do a battery save file in the game (saving in-game). The thing that you did it (I think) is a savestate. Am I right?

#11 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » Phoenix Wright problem » 2010-08-30 17:15:46

Mmm... What version are you using? Because I passed through that part without problems with the 0.9.6 published version, not the source ones.

And second, when you selected that part with the mouse, it should appear a command that says examine, press or something like that, in that part you have to do click with the mouse (IIRC). Did you tried to do that?

Well, that's all by now.

See ya!

#12 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » Phoenix Wright Justice for All Problem » 2010-08-30 17:07:38

Certainly, this isn't an emulation issue. You have to show the Max G. Bust to the judge. This is sorta confusing, but you'll understand it when you'll do it.

That's all by now.

See ya!

#13 Re: General » Megaman star force 1 dragon » 2009-12-19 18:14:23

In the game, ¿Did you have equipped to Mega the Z. Finder? If it's right, that item permits that you can obtain cash instead chips. The opposite thing happens when you have equipped to mega the C. Finder.

I hope that this would be useful for you.

#14 Re: General » Loading compressed roms » 2009-10-06 16:58:20

I know. I said before that I downloaded that SVN build from a web called EmuCR. That was because I was having problems with the install of VC++. ¿Any suggest that where I can obtain unofficial SVN builds besides EmuCR?

#15 Re: General » Loading compressed roms » 2009-10-06 06:44:05

Mmm... that's strange. I tried the things that said in that website, but it doesn't work anyway. Mmm... I'm going to try in asking to something in my U about that problem. It's possible that I could obtain a solution to my problem of installation. Thanks anyway.

If you could find a better method of installation for Windows, you could say it to me, please.

#16 Re: General » Loading compressed roms » 2009-10-03 21:52:06

No. I didn't said that. I said that the desmume_VC_2008 (including the SSE2 version of this variant) of that site doesn't give to me problems, but with the normal version (including the SSE2 variant) from that site I have problems with the compressed files.

And respecting the other thing that you said, I could compile my own version of Desmune, but I have problems with the install of VC++ 2008 Express, because it happens the next error:

Error 1311.Source file not found: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Configuración local\Temp\SIT40007.tmp\vs_setup.cab.  Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

And the strange is the file that the program is requesting is available, but the install program doesn't detect it. So I can't compile the SVN by myself at all in Windows until I don't have a solution to that.

Well, that's all by now.

#17 Re: General » Loading compressed roms » 2009-10-03 20:06:56

OK. I'm using Win XP SP3 and the format that I usually use for compressed roms is .zip.

By the way, I downloaded the SVN r2923 from a web called EmuCR, which in the compressed file come with these executables:

- The normal one.
- The normal one with SSE2 support.
- One that says DeSmuME_VS_2008.
- The same of before, only that with SSE2 support.

The rare thing is that with the normal versions I have problems loading the compressed roms, while with the other ones, I can load compressed files with no problems, including .rar files. I don't know if this is a good thing or not, because since some minute that I knew of that.

Hi everyone.

I have a question here. I'm using here the SVN 2923 of DeSmuME, and well... I tried in load some compressed roms, but it looks that doesn't load it until I decompress the same rom, which is something harassing, because some roms are very big uncompressed (por example, the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days USA game have a size of almost 200 MB compressed, which uncompressed have a size of 256 MBs). In past versions (the other version that I have is the official release of 0.9.4, in other words, the revision 1500) loads various of the compressed ZIP roms, while the SVN 2923 (which supposedly have support with other compress formats, such as .rar. I think that it's a feature from newer versions) can't load the same compressed roms that can be loaded in the other version that I have. ¿Could you say to me what's the source of the problem?

Well, I hope for a soon answer. Take care and thanks in advance.

See ya!
