I got emerald to work and managed to migrate a Torchic and several other early pokemon however my previous version was not the same region so i had to get another version which was same region then it worked.
There is one more requirement for the game to recognise the GBA and that is that both games need to be the same region so if you have North American Pearl you need a North American LeafGreen.
And for the boxes it doesn't matter which box you use as you are able to search through all of them for the pokemon "migrate".
I've just tried it again after reading this topic after previously getting it work in Platinum using 0.9.4 and then having trouble getting it to work in 0.9.5 with both Platinum and SoulSilver with it saying Failed to Save but now it works after i saved both games in the Pokemon Center.
I believe the name Zeromus most likely comes from Final Fantasy IV's last boss but I may be wrong.
Neither of these sound like problems to me yeah it doesn't work as it should but why would anyone want to do it once a day and lose them from GBA game.
I have managed to get the migrate option and pal park to work in 0.9.5 I think you need all the games to be same region for it to work though.
it's best to start playing when the camera has stopped moving and is focused on Link.
you need to extract the files from the archives which is a .7z file or .zip file etc. download a software such as WinRAR and open the 7z file to extract the .NDS file.
I'm having a bit problem with platinum. I can't seem to use the start button or select button. I have try to map it to several different buttons but in game I get no response from the game. Any ideas?

You can work around this bug by doing the following
1) Save State
2) set the emulator to 90 degree rotation
3) close emulator
4) open emulator (should still be 90 degree rotation)
5) load game
6) load state
Thanks I'll try that next time I have one of those battles as I managed to get through the first one.

I used my microphone and finally got it to work if you need to get it to work in 0.9.4 then you'll have to see if you can find a sound file of someone blowing and set it up so it uses that file when the hotkey is pressed.
I've encountered this too I just "close the lid" and open it back up and it works for a couple of seconds but it does allow you to read the text boxes so you don't miss the story.
This is because the start button doesn't bring up the menu in the DS games because there are two extra buttons compared to the GBA and GB so the menu is opened with X instead.
The only thing the start button does in the game is bring up the menu at the Press Start screen and let's you use/quit a slot machine.
I've been trying Heart Gold and I have managed to get to the second gym without any problems.
Can't wait for English release.
