yep i tried all the 3 different Synchronization Modes
they sound better and still print out the message Stopping channel 0 due to zero length
and now sometimes it comes up with the message SPU2 > Timestretch Stats > 2% of packets stretched
in the debug box it keeps on printing out Stopping channel 0 due to zero length
the music sounds static and crackly so i don't know if the message has anything to do with it
it last worked on r 4877 and was broken on r 4878 but it looks like CrazyMax has fixed it now
using r 4878
i thought that i would try a few random .duc files from gamefaqs and not one of them would load properly
either game data corrupt or just would not load it
tried it auto and manually save and there were no .dsv files in the battery save to start off with
here is the link for the .duc files

hey Zeromus
you might need to add that to the faq about unzipping DeSmuME and not running from flash drives and so on
So many noobs lately who can not read a faq and asking the same questions over and over and over
Its so bloody annoying
Config>Emulation Setting and tick Use External Bios images , Emulate SWI's with Bios images , Use external firmware image and Boot from firmware and the game will work
Config>3D settings and change to SoftRasterizer
make a bug report at sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=83 … unc=browse)
with saves
here is a sample from Zeromus
http://wiki.desmume.org/index.php?title … ise095.wav
Config>Firmware settings
config>hotkey config and you will see which key is used for the microphone then use that key (or change it to a key you want to use)
sorry i just saw that you are running in 32bit mode from the screenshot
It looks like you are running in 16 bit
if you are change your graphics card to run in 32 bit
go to Config>Hotkey Config and whatever the microphone key is then use that key for when you need to use a mic
there is dividers
go to View>screen separation
and you have to change savetype from auto to whatever the proper save type is which in this case is EEPROM 64kbit

the only real way is to know if it is a real bug is to test it on real hardware
IMHO Desmume is way ahead of ideas in compatibility, sound and speed
Im not interested if you can change saves between both emulators
I think the team is doing and excellent job without having to worry about it their save is going to work on another emulator
Desmume is coming along in leaps and bounds and will overtake No$gba in compatibility very soon
just my 2 centsYou may run DS game in desmume and then move save file to real hardware to verify (that is your style) and nobody will say it is wrong. I prefer to do my verification in seconds so long as it does the job (that is my style). If desmume developers felt that the bug that I reported lack accuracy or depth, I am sure they will put their frank comment in my bug post. If my bug report is not welcome by desmume developers, I can stop posting (so far I have not received such signal from the developers).
I do not understand why you get so upset with my post as I am responding to zeromus question. If my reply breaks a rule or antagonize the administrator or developers, please freel free to ban me.
that was just my opinion
I was not upset with your post at all
No offence to both nds emu developers, they are great programmers. For me, I use ideas to quickly verify the bug I found in desmume before reporting (just to be sure). ideas is strong in its graphical accuracy and game compatibility while desmume is very good in sound and speed stability etc.
I would say both emu complement each other in the areas that they lack or weak. I use desmume as my primary emu because I see better interaction with the developers in getting bug fixed. For ideas, I won't know if I am reporting something that the developer is interested in fixing until next release.
Of course desmume has make up alot of ground in the areas it is weak for the upcoming 0.9.3.
The only save file created by desmume that ideas reject are those created wrongly by desmume auto detection. I am really curious which game created a good save file in desmume (i.e. can continue from save point) that is rejected by ideas.
Just my thought.

yea about that black screen, its your computer. Mine did the same thing in my computer but the same version worked perfectly fine in my friend's(better computer). But the in-game save feature doesnt work worth a S#!+. so save it before you beat the elite 4 and wait till desmume decides to fix the problem.
Wow i didn't know Desmume could fix itself
This is one smart emulator ![]()
please read the faq to find out
