After I download the noise function from the FAQ, how do I use it?

Now, it's even worse. iTunes does'nt even support it (although it supported it only about five minutes ago). Now what can I do? I really need help!

now, you don't make any sense. what are you trying to do, and what does iTunes have to do with it?

Tell me you're not trying to play the soundfile on itunes and holding up your microphone to your speakers.

Give him some points for inadvertent creativity. OSX doesnt support the mic sample properly so this is the only way it could possibly work for him.

I don't even have a microphone. I'm using windows, and downloaded a file called "zeldanoise095", recommended in the FAQ.
Oh, and I'm using a laptop. Is it impossible to play this game on a laptop?

I would really like to know what am I suppose to do. I don't think you mockering me will really help me.

Uhhmm.... its not so much mocking when you didn't do one of the following
1. You don't need help ... you WANT help.
2. Whats the OS you're using (Linux/Windows/OSX)
3. What version of DeSmuMe are you using.
4. Did you save the mic noise wave file correctly.
5. Did you set it up correctly in your current version of DeSmuMe.
6. What the hell has iTunes got to do with anything.
Last but not least ... did you do a forum search?
Search results for "Zelda mic"
found in Compatibility on forum - 3 posts found
found in Support on forum - 1 post found
By making a post that makes sense, we might be able to actually help you. Besides all that, It's pretty obvious you didn't really look into this too much.
Or you'd know its as simple as putting the *.wav file in the DeSmuMe microphone settings and setting up a Microphone hotkey in the hotkey settings .....

I don't know much about technical stuff, but I use Windows Vista. Didn't notice the "configure microphone" option... I facepalmed myself.
I use Desmume 0.9.5. Saved the wave file into a folder. Incorporated to "Use Microphone Sample" (I can't use "Internal Noise Sample", can I?), used "M" as a microphone hotkey. It still doesn't seem to work.

Now it does work. I thought that the file will play a tune (I'm kinda hardheaded about stuff like this), and it doesn't, but I tried it when I didn't need to. But it workes like a charm.

Wow stories like this don't usually have a happy ending. I'm glad you stuck with it, even through all the mockering.
