So is there a page listing known values for games besides that silly, inadequate yet often linked wiki page? Because I don't want to be wasting my time here. I've found two values that people might find important to the Pokemon Platinum users, I'll list them here.
WARNING: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, CHEATERS.
Caution: May only work in Platinum version.
How to use:
Version 0.9.5- Emulation -> Cheats -> List -> Internal
The numbers I list go in the "address" field. The value is the number that you want in the game. For instance, for money, if you wanted $500 you would enter 500. Check freeze value if you don't want this number to change throughout the course of the game. And then make sure the value you've entered is within the range of the byte size. Comprende?
Coin Case Coins- 27E258
How to discover "cheats" on your own:
Version 0.9.5- Emulation -> Cheats -> Search
Use this tool to find your own cheats. For instance, if you have $1337, search for a value of 1337. If only one address comes up for that value, it's a pretty safe bet you've just found the address you want to tinker with. If 16 addresses come up...you might want to wait till the value changes and then you can search again and hope that only one address will pop up. OR you can just tinker with all of the addresses that come up until you get the desired results. This isn't recommended as you might accidentally change an important value. For instance, while searching for the coin case coins value, I screwed up my inventory to the point of being unusable.
If you know of any other Pokemon Platinum addresses, post them here. If there already is a thread for this, direct me there :-p
why dont you add this to the wiki page which is well linked to?
Because this way people can tell me they love me.
I've just discovered more!
Med Items have a pattern. Not sure if it extends beyond medicines. Feel free to experiment.
PP Up - 27ED4E
HP Up- 27ED6E
You see the diff between the two? The 2nd to last number changes. That seems to signify which item it is. The letter at the end seems to be in charge of the behavior of that item. So make sure that E on the end doesn't change...that seems to always be necessary to signify the number of items you have.
You can play with other letters at the end if you really want to. I got some pretty funny results. For instance...HP Up turned into a black sphere and became a hold item. Froze the game when I had a Pokemon hold it...but you know...haha.
P.S. You might already need to have at least one in your inventory for this to work. Maybe someone can figure out why or what value to change in addition if you have zero.

Nobody likes you. You're about as loved as the bubonic plague. Now seriously, put these on the wiki article rather than on here.
Alternatively, don't. There's already plenty of codes for this game.
why tolerate someone who is trying to make this his personal cheat mini forum ?
Where the eff are the codes then? I don't see any on the wiki page: http://wiki.desmume.org/index.php?title … in_DeSmuMe
Listen guys, I was just trying to be helpful. Thanks for the warm reception here. Really glad to see how welcoming this community is.
I'll stop posting. I was just trying to get a healthy convo about codes in this game. Real sorry man.
youre far more likely to get a healthy convo about codes in a pokemon gamer's forum. look at it this way. if every pokemon player talked about pokemon in this forum, it would be 99% pokemon and 1% other things since 99% of desmume users are pokemon pirates. it is best to discourage it.
Try the action replay site for codes for the game. Otherwise, google. Seriously, plenty of codes for this game.
