getting a DeSmuME save file to work on no$gba

hello everyone, im new to the forums, i been playing with desmume for along time but i kinda wanted to switch over to another emulator (no$gba). cause the game i currently play on desmume is really laggy. But i had a friend who plays the same game on no$gba emu and he doesnt seem to lag at all. so i was wondering if there is a way i can convert a .dsv file into a .sav file ?

file > export backup memory. then use the web to learn how to change no$ to use raw save files and then it should work.

it means your game isnt working right on no$ and you better search the web for information on how to make that game work on no$

like i can play it without the save file perfectly, it runs smooth, just when i put the .sav file into the battery folder and try loading it up i get that error

Then you didnt follow the instructions for reconfiguring no$ to use a raw save file.

For the record, and for future inquirees who use the search function (assuming that anybody ever does that of course), you might consider sharing what was holding you up and what you figured out.
