Re: 9.2 save file

The file was unpacked, and the anitivirus I use is AVG free.  I made sure that it was made part of the resident shield exceptions but I couldn't find anything else that may have been blocking it cause I have the Microsoft one disabled all the time.  Thanks so much for your help, I hope that this can get figured out sometime soon.

Re: 9.2 save file

Just wanted to update and say that I finally was able to get 0.9.2 to play with my old savestate from 0.9.1.  After playing around for a while with the different save types(which none of them worked at all) I finally got an idea to try. Instead of going to 'save state as' and giving it a file name, I used the automatic save state 1 and was able to load that in 0.9.2.  I did not use any other special settings (i.e. using Vista with no other compatibility mode or administration mode) and it works splendidly now.  Thanks again Manivo for helping me.

Re: 9.2 save file

I didn't have a lot to do with the solution, it seems. Regardless, I'm glad it works for you now!

Still seems weird, though. I can't think of a reason why the hotkeyed savestates would save differently than manual savestates.
