Trying to play Pokemon Black or white, not letting me start a new game
I have a Hp laptop and I downloaded everything I needed. I started up Desmume and I was able to press enter to skip past the title screen. But then I came to the point where I had four choices of " New game, mystery gift, Nintendo WFC settings, and Mic Test" I can move up and down but I cannot select any of these options. I checked my controls and "start" is bound to my enter key. But when I press enter nothing happens please help!

Look at a picture of an NDS. Imagine you're holding it in your hands. Imagine you're pressing the start button and it's not working. Then imagine what you do next.
