Desmume too quiet all of a sudden (Windows)

The emulator usually is incredibly loud unless it's put at 20% volume, but all of a sudden yesterday the volume got insanely quiet, and it's remained that quiet since. I had to put the emulator on 100% volume and turn my computer volume and headset volume up to near max to get it back to how it used to sound like. This is annoying because every other sound on my computer is way too loud while I'm playing. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've already tried closing the emulator and opening it again. Thank you so much in advance to anyone who's willing to offer suggestions!

how did you "put the emulator on 100% volume"

Oh, well I fixed it. I poked around in sound settings (on my computer, not Desmume itself), went to "App volume and device preferences," then noticed it said that Desmume was only at 1% volume for some reason. I turned it back up and now the problem is resolved. Thanks anyways for the help!
