Restore Pokemon Diamond Saving

Hi Guys,

Here my fist topic.
Today I wanted to play Pokemon Diamond but unfortunately only the audio was working fine, video was completely black. I found that DeSmuME version I've installed it was too old for the current OS I'm running (macOS Monterey). So I downloaded the newest version of the emulator (0.9.11) and the game now run very well!

The point is that, after the migration, I couldn't load the latest saving file. Looks like the game start from the beginning. It hurst because I've spent many hours on that game and I'd like to start where I've left.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Alex

Scour your computer for .dsv files. That's where the save file is stored. You may have to phone-a-friend who knows how to work a computer.

Re: Restore Pokemon Diamond Saving

if there's no .dsv files then either you never saved the game, or someone deleted them.
