Controls automatically filling with crap?

So, I have a Nintendo switch pro controller, and whenever I go to control config, all of the button spots are instantly filled in my random jumbled inputs! if there is any way to fix this, is it my controller, are switch pro controllers not compatible with the program, or what? the version of DeSmuME that I'm using is 0.9.10

Some of the prompts that replace the button commands include (J0)Z Rot Down and (J0)Button [number here], and they all automatically fill in, even when I'm not even touching the controller.

Re: Controls automatically filling with crap?

I rebooted the computer, and yet the controls were still randomly inserted into the spots. Any other possible fixes? I think the Z rot are the controler gyro sensors, but I don't know why the other buttons are coming from

Re: Controls automatically filling with crap?

gyro controls are known to create madness like this but ive never heard of it happening on windows with a switch controller before.
sadly, 0.9.10 isn't supported anymore. not that a newer one is likely to have this situation improved any.
I'm sorry your controller is sending glitched nonsense to desmume. You may try finding an alternative driver
