First off something that happens to both versions of Desmume is whenever I start a game, I have to unpause/hit execute when in older version, once I load the game, Desmume is already in execute mode.
I've mentioned this in the past and got no clear answer but in Desmume v0.9.11, whenever I manually alter the Desume Window's size and close the application, when the desmume program is re-oppened, the application window is back to the default size rather then staying at the size I stretched it too last time. On my older Desmume on my older mac, the application remembers the previous window size when I re-open the program.
With git#be2735b3, I've noticed at least with Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, the games sprite tilesets are often messed up or glitched such as movement arrows taking too long to disappear or tiles being split too far apart then they should be in the regular game.
I can post some screenshots too. Is the last bit caused or able to be fixed by any graphical option, are there any plans for a future version of Desmume for mac?

apple breaks all existing software once every six months and desmume is so old it's gotten pretty broken. someone's working on a totally updated mac version. hang on.

That is good to know, I am on Mac Sierra by the way.
Is there a rough estimate, I can wait a while so don't worry.

Should I post a picture of the Shadow Dragon graphical glitches, I don't think there's an attach file option on this message board.
I wonder if other mac users using git#be2735b3 have the same problem with Shadow Dragon?

How many users you think there are on that exact version playing that exact game? You won't find out about it here. You can post a picture if you want, but nobody's going to debug it unless you find it on a brand new version of the emulator.

Probably anyone else using a desmume on mac has tried the beta 9.12.
That reminds me, where can I download 0.9.9 and 0.9.10 for OSX currently? I wanna see if they work with Sierra and work better?

Probably the few people using desmume on mac (you should be using openemu or retroarch, at this point) haven't played that exact game.
They won't work better.

Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon is a rather popular game, chances are high someone else plays it on mac desmume or is willing to try it.
I like the interface of Desmume more and neither of those two emulators can do Action replay very well.
Looks like 9.9 works even worse, 9.10 works similarly to 9.11.
9.8 worked the best but Sierra no longer runs it.
Thats just my experience so far.

the last mac build is full of AR bugs that would be fixed in any future build

Do you mean 9.10 or 9.11? What kinda AR bugs, in OpenEmu and Retroarch, the cheats don't save?
BTW is it possible to commission/donate to help new versions of Desmume?

Any mac build that exists has AR bugs that would be fixed in any future build. I mean them all.
AR bugs mean cheats that do not function properly. I don't know anything about cheats in OpenEmu or Retroarch, except that they can't possibly have AR cheats that work which desmume doesn't, since they use desmume's AR engine. "cheats dont save" doesnt sound like a problem desmume ever had.
There is no way to commission/donate to help new versions of desmume; however, using github to identify the committer doing the most work for macos and contacting them directly is what I would do if I were in your position.
