Why does DSV file in download\battery, not the emulator folder, fail?

I want to revert my in game saves and I have an older version of the DSV in the outside folder in my file history but when I put it in the save folder in the emulator it does not work, why is that?

Re: Why does DSV file in download\battery, not the emulator folder, fail?

This is not complicated. If you have desmume closed and copy a .dsv file you want to use on top of the .dsv file that desmume creates, then it _will_ work. If it doesn't work, then the most likely 99% explanation is you don't know elementary computer operation skills and simply haven't actually done the very thing I wrote. This is usually solved by finding a local friend with elementary computer operation skills and asking them for help.

I didn't even read what you wrote, but "in all but that one instance" literally says "I didn't do what you told me to, once" to which my reply is "too bad. do what I told you to do, always, and you won't have problems."
