What version do you have, and what are your computer/os specs? Does it give a message of any sort?

mhmm the message being that the program has unexpectedly shut down. And it prompts me to relaunch, ignore, or report as in all failures on mac. The program was version 8 something I do believe. The newest one I could find and I did go searching.
System Specs
Processor: 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 1GB 667 MHz DDR SDRAM
What else do you need?

I need your OS version like 10.5.4. Also, when it prompts you to report, hit yes and it will give you a another dialog bog which should have a section called "Problem Details". If you copy and paste that section here that would help out a lot (then you cancel and not send the report).
Thanks.

I think the problem is not in the code but in the compile/link settings/flags/options (this problem came up when leopard came out - tiger-built versions made command-line-style didn't work on leopard and vice versa - the fix was to compile with xcode).
There's no way I can test or fix this at the moment because I don't have access to any macs running Tiger. The only things I can think of that may fix the problem at the moment are to re-download the executable from the sourceforge project page so you are sure you're getting the correct build, and/or install your os updates.

Hmm Well I will try that. I believe I did that once, but I can't be sure.
I'll be back to let you know how it goes.
Thanks Jeff,
