Hello there, I am having a problem on transferring my save files, as said on the title. First of all, I have always done this transferring and it always worked, moving the in-game file to the DesMuMe folder, changing the format and importing the battery. However, when trying to transfer my files from Castlevania, the emulator itself runs it, but the game says that the save file is corrupted and doesn't work, even though the same in-game save is perfectly working on DraStic(I don't even have save states saved), so I don't know how can I solve this problem. I tried using a formatter software instead of just changing on the name, but it didn't work also. Any help will be very appreciated

Ask drastic for support, as a paying customer. Drastic uses a proprietary format using our extension, so it's confusing.

I've asked already in both forums, I can't seem to find the answer in the internet. Gonna check with their support tho

I'm sure I've read about this online before. I doubt you "changed the format". More likely, you changed the extension. What you probably need to do is cut everything past the first N KB, where N is for example 32 in case the file is approximately 33KB, to cut off the footer. The result is a raw .sav file.

Yes, I've changed only the name of the file itself. You are talking about hex codes on the file? I'm totally an outsider on this things, could you tell me how can I do such things? I'd be most grateful for it

Well, I've grabbed HxD, and did erase that part on the save(I just didn't understand why a DraStic save file would have a footer talking about DesMuMe, any answers on this would also be appreciated), but it's still not working

then you're using an old version of desmume.
