Yugioh 5ds World Championship 2011:Over the Nexus, slow game speed

I have been trying to play Yugioh for a while but for some reason the game is playing at a really slow speed. I tried other roms and they work fine as far as i can tell its just Yugioh. I have the latest version of Desmume too. I have also tried different versions of the rom but i have the same problem each time. I don't understand what is wrong.

turn on the framerate display so that you can define really slow speed, and stop playing games and emulators off of a USB drive, in case you are.

I am not playing off a usb drive and the framerate display says FPS: 21/59 (56%/19%) that's around what is says when i stand still

what's your cpu, and which other games ran full speed?

2.50 GHz if that sounds right i don't know a lot about computers so i think that's what your asking about and i played Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Spirit Caller without problems

that's your cpu speed, if someone asks your cpu you need to give the model as well. is championship 2011 always slow or did it start off fast and then get slow for mysterious reasons? can you play 2008 fine right this moment?

it's a HP Envy and as far as i can tell it's been slow the whole time and i can play 2008 just fine with out any problems

that's not a cpu model.

Just because you can play one game at a bearable speed doesnt mean you can play every game at bearable speed. Try the speedup tips in our faq.

I tried the faq but non of the tips made any difference and i can play multiple games without problems not just one and when i looked at the FPS and when the game starts up it runs a normal speed but then slows down after i reach the main menu and stuff and the CPU model is A10-5750M APU with Radeon HD Graphics it think that's right this time if not sorry once again i do not know a lot about computers

That's a pretty pathetic cpu. It may never run some games at full speed. make sure youve picked opengl renderer instead of softrasterizer, but im sure changing that was one of the tips

Yes it was so it's running slow because my computer is not good enough? So i guess i cannot fix it then
