Loaded save

I happened to screw up in a game, and in spite, tried to load a old save, and after that, I had no sound.
All settings are to the usual, not the default, the way needed for good sounding games.

The 'view sound state' shows that sound is playing, but my speakers wont pull it up anymore, no matter how many times I reset, close and reopen the program.

Any clue to how to fix this? I love the music and sound effects of my game, and I'd like it to work again.

Please and thank you.

Re: Loaded save

I didn't think there would be a problem. So I used it. I didn't read anywhere where they said they may cause problems.
In most games that's so much easier because there are certain areas you must save at, and with them, you can save with a single button, and anywhere.

Re: Loaded save

they dont cause problems, they cause confusion by faithfully recording bugs which have already occurred in emulation. using in-game saves is usually a successful workaround. i've never heard of a loadstate breaking sound that way.

Re: Loaded save

In other words, just try loading from the in-game save? I tried that back when this started, didn't work. tongue

Re: Loaded save

Oh well, seems my computer needed to update, game kept saying I need to eject it after I started it up again, and tried load state, and sound is back. I don't know what I did really.
