Harvest Moon DS won't stop shaking

So I finally got a cow and a cheese maker.  When I milked the cow it showed one bottle of milk.  But when I put the milk in the cheese maker it said I made one million cheese and started doing that shaking thing it does when you put stuff in the makers but it won't stop!  I think it's because at one point I had the cheat for leveling up tools on so I could upgrade my other tools to Mystrile and it affected my milker and shears too.  They're level 127 now.  I don't know how to fix this.  How do I make the shaking stop and what do I do about my milker?  Please help!

if you cheated, then that's what broke it. we cant be responsible for the consequences of cheating. go ask on a harvest moon gamer's forum and you might find some help, but it isnt likely.

Re: Harvest Moon DS won't stop shaking

Wow, that wasn't very polite.  I never said anyone was responsible, I only asked for help remedying the situation.  I've never used Desmume or action replay codes before and the instructions can be confusing.  I only have this in the first place because the game itself for DS is glitchy and tends to restart every so often and I got sick of playing the first year over and over.  I can't learn from my mistakes if I can't see where I went wrong in the first place.  Now can anyone give me some advice instead of making me feel like a jerk?  Thanks.

Re: Harvest Moon DS won't stop shaking

I see youre new to the internet and emulation, so allow me to explain. Programmers are too busy programming the software you're using to figure out how to be polite, which doesnt come naturally to them, as their skills in relating to computers come at the expense of relating to harvest moon gamers. So please just take my word for it that youve misconstrued me completely. At this point I'm told that apologizing for my inept verbal flailing is appropriate, and that observation of its propriety is insufficient and that i should actually say it, so I'm sorry for my inept verbal flailing and for making you feel like a jerk.

Now then--where you went wrong is quite likely cheating, since I've heard a lot of people complaining about this game (thanks for letting me know that the retail cart freezes. I hadnt heard that before, and it might explain why the game malfunctions in desmume so much--an inherent flaw in the game programming) but I've never heard about this exact issue.

But also, you could try never savestating but only in-game saving. When the game malfunctions, load from an in-game save, and it will let the malfunctions get refreshed by the game effectively having rebooted.

Re: Harvest Moon DS won't stop shaking

*sigh* I was afraid of something like that.  It stops when I turn it off and back on, but that gets old.  I have the actual cartridge, but the glitches make it unplayable which is a pity because I do enjoy the game.  I only used cheats in the first place to get where I had originally left off.  If I could find a way to make my shears and milker go down a few levels that would be fine.  I'm not having any other problems.  This is annoying.  Thank you anyway.  Also, I'm new to emulation, not the internet.  I'm not sure why you thought the latter, but emulation is a bit confusing.

Re: Harvest Moon DS won't stop shaking

Many people are doing this, it assists with emulating several popular games including some of the pokemons. So you're in good company, at least.
