Recording Filters

What would you need to edit in the source code to make the inbuilt recorder record the filters?

Re: Recording Filters

DRV_AviVideoUpdate(), do_video_conversion(), and StepRunLoop_Core() [change that to use video.buffer instead of GPU_screen, perhaps?]

alternatively, use avisynth and find someone who's converted the filters to avisynth filters; or find someone with even a modest level of skill in writing avisynth filters and induce them to convert the filter youre interested in to avisynth filters. applying resizing filters to avi output isn't desmume's job, and that's why it hasnt been done. additional utilities are generally necessary for post-processing.

Re: Recording Filters

I see, I would prefer desmume to do it so I wouldn't get a loss in quality. Thank you.

Re: Recording Filters

it doesnt make any sense. pay someone to make the avisynth filter that you want. its easier, and the rest of the world can benefit.

Re: Recording Filters

+1
Scale/LQ/HQ was already done.  You can apparently use ffdshow and ffavisynth if you want 2xSai.
