Final Fantasy III Problem

Hi, I'm using DeSmuME 0.9.6 msvc1500 x64 to try and run FF3 but after the two white screens the game goes black and nothing happens without the emu crashing (It still use the CPU). I tried switching the 3D Settings from OpenGL to Soft and the display options to SW instead of HW but it made no difference.

Now from what I read some previous version should run it so I'll try that but I thought it would be important to mention it.

Before you ask, I've never had any problem running games before (I just finished DQ IX and it played fast and fine visually except for some minor visual glitches).

Just in case you must absolutely know my specs:

Core 2 Duo E6800 3.2Ghz
ATI Radeon HD3870 512Mb
6Gb DD3 RAM
1Tb Hard Drive
Windows Vista x64 Home Preminum
Most of the other features Sound, LAN ect. are on board

Any help tips would be appreciated.

EDIT: Oi! Nevermind, Needed to activate advanced bus timing for it to work.

Sorry again for this post but hopefully will help someone else.

Re: Final Fantasy III Problem

huhhhh thanks for reporting your results. Sometimes we take flak for defaulting that option to ON, since it costs a substantial amount of speed, but this helps vindicate it.
