Sound lag (Mac Mountain Lion)

Hello everyone,

I have a little problem on my Mac. I'  using the most recent version of DesMuMe (0.9.8 Mountain Lion) and everything seems to work fine. But sometimes, I get some really bad sound lag, mainly in pokemon Black and in the cities of Pokemon Platinum. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Re: Sound lag (Mac Mountain Lion)

We'll need some more information about your hardware. Please use the System Profiler app in your Applications/Utilities folder and give us the following:
1. Model Identifier
2. Processor Speed

Re: Sound lag (Mac Mountain Lion)

Based on your machine's specs, sound lag in the Pokemon games is expected. The sound lag is the result of your Mac not having enough CPU speed to keep up with the core emulation timing, since Pokemon games tend to be very CPU intensive.

You may be able to gain better emulation performance by doing the following:
1. Quit all other running applications
2. Disable Advanced Bus-Level Timing (can be found under View > Show Emulation Settings)
3. Enable Auto Frame Skip (can be found in the Emulation menu)
