need help on game save problem

when i playing a game with DeSmuME, i save the game by normal way(which mean in the game,not save state)

there r no .sav or .dsv file create in the game folder, hence, i also cant load the game save file i download

what is the problem or where the file go?

after refer to the FAQ, i still can't solve the problem

i rename the raw save file(.sav) to .dsv n put in the same folder with the ROM, but i still cant load the save file when i run the game

where is desmume.exe located

i create a "game" folder in the same folder with desmume.exe, n i put the ROM inside the "game" folder

you didnt answer my question. also, to simplify matters, put every rom in the same directory as desmume.exe. once it works you can try something else

i boot the emulator from the pendrive which is the directory like below:

Computer/KINGSTON(F:)/DeSmuMe

or i have to boot it in my hard disk drive?

delete your ini file

thanks! now i can create the .dsv file!

but the .ini file will automatically recreate when i run desmume.exe, is this normal?

yes, but itll be a valid .ini file this time.

for future problems, (this will happen again when the flash drive changes drive letters) instead of deleting the ini file, compare them and learn.
