Microphone Input

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has any info about how microphone input works in the DS and when, as I think it is asynchronous (an unemulated functionality in the tick loop?)

Microphone support would solve some compatibility issues, though (if needed) voice modulation to fit the DS's needs could absorb unnecessary CPU power. If this succeeds, it'll only be available for Windows, as I don't know how to work with ALSA.

Thanks.

Re: Microphone Input

Sorry for double posting,

I am planning to create pre-modulated blow and whistle sounds, and convert them to procedurally generated byte loops which'll stream into the sound input processor.
Can someone blow and/or whistle to a microphone so I can do that?

Re: Microphone Input

No idea if you still intend to do this or no, but if so:

Hope that's some help.
