Soul Silver Game Freeze

I know you don't support them but I need help. I own the cart but I do video walkthroughs for games so I need to be able to film also and this is the only way to do it.

When I get back to New Bark and I go out and Lyra wants to teach be about capturing Pokemon she takes me to the tall grass and then gets all excited and comes back and then the game freezes. The background sprites are still moving and I can get a reaction on screen to clicking the Talk button but the game does not continue.

I've tried this on 2 different computers and it freezes at the same place both times. So far the rest of the game works beautifully.

If you read that we don't support them, why opening the thread? Not deleting as a warning for others.
