map dPad to joystick (same input)

Basically, in every other emulator my dPad and joystick work at the same time as same functions. But not in desmume, and I have tried using xbox 360 emulators like x360ce. Any solution?

keep searching for gamepad emulators / mapping utilities and eventually you will find one that can do it
