My Desmume is acting very very strangely

I use desmume 0.9.9 to tas super mario 64 ds, but for some reason it has been acting very strangely occasionally. It will always desync any tas I try to play back, and will sometimes have random complete changes in gameplay like loading zones not doing anything or the character randomly turning invisible. The game also freezes whenever I enter some loading zones, and in dev it says: Changing master brightness outside of vblank
Changing master brightness outside of vblank
snddx: emergency cleared sound buffer. (-11172, 882, 0)
STMIA with Rb in Rlist

I've had restarting my computer return desmume to normal before, but it always comes back after a day or so. I've also tried getting new fresh roms and reinstalling desmume but it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know what would cause this or how to fix it?

I don't know the exact reason but all tasers use 0.9.9

Re: My Desmume is acting very very strangely

tasers have sync problems with newer versions due to save file management being unreliable, but none of them have ever posted useful information about it. they just shrug and say who cares and use the old version. Make sure youre not using the JIT (if that even exists in version 0.9.9).
Also you're in the wrong place for help with tasing. Post on tasvideos.org

Re: My Desmume is acting very very strangely

I'm having a similar problem. It bugs out randomly, not just during loading zones. It will play for at least 1-2 minutes before freezing gameplay. I can reset and it will reset the game, but the cycle continues. I am using a version which was stable before, so I'm not sure why it's no longer stable. Maybe because I upgraded my hardware? How do I post a log file?

I am using 0.9.12 Git version
