AVI recording

How do I make a good AVI recording that doesn't take up space? All I have is these crappy built-in codecs:

Full Frames (Uncompressed)
Microsoft Video 1
Microsoft RLE
Intel IYUV Codec
Intel IYUV Codec (AGAIN)
Cinepak Codec by Radius

Re: AVI recording

make a good avi recording that does take up space using uncompressed, then encode it with a 3rd party tool.

if you want uncompressed  use lagrith lossless codec.  its a much smaller file from uncompressed  but still has the same quality as uncompressed.  then use whatever you prefer to use to compress it to mp4.
