I'm sure this has been asked a 1000 times buuuuuuut.

I recorded a movie on desmume and when i go to play it back it de syncs because the game adds extra features after its beaten. causing the imputs to be hit at the wrong moments. i tried deleting the saves but its like there is a hidden save somewhere in the video :S. any fixes?

Also how do i get different video compression so when i go to video dump there inst 100 2 gig files.

Re: Movie Playback help!!! Video Compression help!!!!

the movie is supposed to wipe the sram before it begins, so this is impossible.
But someone broke this after 0.9.9. You may have to go back and use that version.
You should be asking these questions on tasvideos.org, where they'll probably tell you to use 0.9.9

Since that was a relatively competent question, I'm somewhat astounded you'd ask how to use a different video compression. Here's how: just freaking do it, and when it asks what compression to use, use a different one.

Re: Movie Playback help!!! Video Compression help!!!!

well it is happening so not so impossible I guess. Can i clear the Sram myself manually or something

As for video compression of course you could just select another compressor I guess my question is how do i add other formats besides the ones that come with it.

Re: Movie Playback help!!! Video Compression help!!!!

you could close the emulator and delete the sram before recording your movie IF you could start the emulation paused -- and repeat the process before playing it -- which it does not seem that you can. Therefore you may need to use 0.9.9

no formats come with desmume. desmume uses the VFW codecs installed in windows. Install a VFW codec, or a bigger hard disk.
