Go to Display Method and activate OpenGL and Vsync. If you turn off frame limiter, games will run fast and smoothly at 144fps or whatever is your max refresh rate (good for grinding in rpgs, need beefy cpu). However, after a few cycles the game will stutter and performance will go down if you have g-sync compatibility for both fullscreen and windows on. So go to Nvidia panel and turn on g-sync for fullscreen only. Now the game will keep having good performance.
