We won't make a 3DS/2DS emulator.

#1 Re: Support » Desmume 0.8 win -need help » 2008-06-01 09:23:40

Looks like a problem with your theme, try reverting back to the default theme and trying again. Some themes have slightly different sizes for outside of the windows which can make the menu use two rows.

#2 Re: Support » HELP!!!!!! diamond and pearl does not work » 2007-10-21 23:47:08

This is a known bug , but as of now no one has bothered to track down why it isn't working so for now your out of luck.

#3 Re: Support » Sound » 2007-09-30 20:00:09

Have you changed the sound driver from null to direct audio from the sound settings menu?

#4 Re: General » Very important! suggest: how to have touch screen on PSP » 2007-09-30 19:59:02

The port to the PSP wasn't done by any of the official desmume development team it was done by an unofficial source and thus this post shouldn't be here.

#5 Re: General » Action Replay? » 2007-09-24 05:19:45

Yes your saves for will be there unless you mean savestates which might not work on newer versions

#6 Re: General » Action Replay? » 2007-09-23 01:45:58

Desmume doesnt currently support AR codes and probably wont for awhile

#7 Re: General » German translation ready! » 2007-09-18 08:12:59

Your contribution has been incorporated into my private build and will eventually make it into the next official release  , unless someone has already put it into cvs.

#9 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » Magical Starsign, battle not working » 2007-08-24 10:51:50

if it was easy wouldn't you think it'd be fixed by now

#10 Re: Support » Strange Gameplay Colours » 2007-08-19 01:33:06

iirc its because your screen settings are 32bit and that causes desmume to invert the colours not exactly sure why though

#11 Re: Support » Ace Attorney, stuck on first judge question, what's the defendant name » 2007-07-31 03:45:24

harlock59 your wrong as well.
In fact DeSmuME was created by YopYop but was abandoned after a law change in France outlawing the creation of emulators so YopYop released the sourcecode.
I then took that code an added a few things but later on started using the code that was being ported to C by the DeSmuME team.
Shash used a modified version of DeSmuME that i gave him to start work on the 3d core.
NDeSmuME was made by some Italian guy and he only released one version but iirc he promised about 10

#12 Re: General » Neon DS emulator » 2007-07-30 05:13:36

combining emulators is not an easy task and some people like working by them selves e.g Lino(iDeaS) you have to take into account the many many different coding styles and languages that could be used to make an emulator it'd be like trying to combine apples and oranges

#13 Re: Support » Ace Attorney, stuck on first judge question, what's the defendant name » 2007-07-30 05:11:17

version 0.4.0 ?!?!?!?!?!? thats atleast a year old by now download the latest which iirc is 0.7.1

#14 Re: Support » HELP PLEASE! » 2007-07-27 11:06:33

Well for starters you shouldn't be encrypting your roms to run them on desmume

#15 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » Firmware settings now work!! » 2007-06-16 05:08:04

As Serio said its configurable from config/firmware and i should know as i added it, but i haven't done much with desmume for weeks/months but the system i put in place should be portable to all the supported host systems

#16 Re: Support II (decommissioned) » GBA Games » 2007-04-21 08:21:34

The GBA isnt emulated through the NDS firmware it is in-fact done through hardware just like it is in a real gba

#17 Re: Support » Problem with compiling CVS using dev-cpp... » 2007-03-25 04:47:18

snkmad, where do you think the makefiles come from? they get generated by using info from the project file which was broken as you don't want to be linking both C and C++ code together like that, I've committed the fix aswell as a little something extra just now

#18 Re: Support » Problem with compiling CVS using dev-cpp... » 2007-03-25 02:41:49

The problem your having is because when you include files in to the current project file it includes them as a C++ file and when you try and link C and C++ functions it causes problems, I'll commit the updated files sometime today
