I am using Wine 4.0.1 and DeSmuMe works for all of my dozen games except I had to disable to toolbar which is not a big deal.

DeSmuMe on Linux seems to be lightweight and missing many settings that are on the Windows version. Is there a reason for this? Will the Linux version get an upgrade in the next release?
Also why are the savestates and saved game files sharing the same directory in /home/user/.config/demume/ ?
